Day 4 to madison

Ok so long time no post my wifi has been acting up and so I have resorted to going down to the local coffee shop to connect with the rest of the world for atleast a couple of hours - I had my first day of orientation and I think I am actually ready for more torture! I got to visit the dairy farm (charmany farms) - there was a lot of gas and poo - sorry i don't have any pictures to share but i am sure you get the idea... They had 3 lil babies, I got to pet a lil girl by the name of tequila. So far my classmates seem pretty normal and nice... there are only 13 guys out of 80 and most of the class is under 25 a bit different from the engineering environment I was in for the past 6mo :O. I have met a few who are a bit older or have a couple years of work experience under their belt so I don't feel so alone.

the one big downside to the program is that i have finals up to December 24!! but i do get a month off for winter and 3 for summer! Peru here I come!!! anyway let me update you on the past week......

Day 4
...of the move - we drove through mostly Iowa and entered Wisconsin - we say many corn/soy farms and a cute town by the name of Debuque where we crossed the mississippi. We ended up at the KOA outside of Madison and I finally got to set my car free from the trailer - it was nice to be able to finally drive again.

Day 5-? (today)

I picked up the glenster last tuesday night in milwaukee, we moved everything into my new place, futzed with the horrible Wi-fi, and took a trip to chicago. He left yesterday :(... but my folks are still here til the weekend. I get a couple odd breaks throughout the year so if you get the urge to come visit you are more than welcome :)! I hear the Halloween is crazier than castro.

Fall Breaks:

10/28-11/1

11/23-11/26

12/24-01/21
