Kitengela Hot Glass

Today Debby and I went on an adventure with a new friend (Amy Baden) out to the suburb of Karen. We were visiting the Kitengela Hot Glass Studio. This studio is a mother/son effort which recycles glass to make unique glassware, jewelry, art installations, etc.  Apparently this place was started in the late 70's by Nani Croze and has since evolved into an extraordinary place.

You can stay there for the night, take glass blowing classes, watch them make items, or just shop...
You can also bring your old bottles to recycle there too.
