Kenyan Coast

A couple of weeks ago my friend Josh and I did a crazy coastal trip... 3 days, 3 nights, 2 bottles of magic moments, 1 bottle of rum, 3 bottles of wine, and 2 bathing suits. What else do you need in a Muslim region of Kenya?

Friday: Leave work for the airport and fly to Malindi
After work cocktails in the airport lounge

Tuk Tuk in Malindi taking us to dinner

Saturday: Morning at the beach then 4 hour bus to Lamu
early morning tuk tuk to the Malindi Marine Park to watch the sunrise
crabs checking us out on the beach
what a bus...
One of the many donkeys around the island - there is only one car so this is the main form of transport.

Sunday: Henna, shopping (not for beads though cause that store is closed on Sunday),  and flight to Malindi
this was hair dye - not henna and to think, my arm kept burning after this experience
View of the mangroves at the ... eco lodge
more crabs

Monday: Bus to Mombasa then a flight back to Nairobi

Invader in Mombasa
ancient toilet/choo and Ft. Jesus

can you find the crab... yes another species. Kenyan coast = crabs...

Our Zanzibari pizza dinner before the flight back home
The rest....
