So you may be asking yourself...

what are these Nairobi dance clubs like? I have to say I learn something new every time I go out, but these are a few things I have learned this last month going out...

1. You are guaranteed to hear music like this







2. There is always Tusker (hopefully baridi)

3. If you are at Black Diamond you will see at least one sleezy old white man and one prostitute (possibly dancing together - badly)

4. If you are going out in the city center you must become a temporary member to buy beer after 11pm and you must dance with yourself in a mirror - also you will see at least one prostitute (dancing in a mirror).

5. Clubs stay open until 4am every night - so be prepared.

6. You will meet at least one free-lance photographer (most likely on something) who may or may not actually be a free-lance photographer and just thinks that this is a great pick up line.

7.  There is always something good to see...
